Leelanau does not require an inspection but Benzie does. Benzie completes the inspection in house not outside inspection is accepted.

Grand Traverse County Health Department

This county does not require an inspection at the time of the sale of a home.
Long Lake Township in Grand Traverse County does require an inspection
